🚨 WE ARE HIRING – FLIGHT OPERATIONS OFFICER ✈️🇦🇪
Dubai-based aviation operator is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Flight Operations Officer to join our Operations Control Center team.
The selected candidate will support and coordinate worldwide business aviation operations, ensuring that each flight is properly planned, scheduled, monitored, and executed in compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities
✅ Manage daily flight operations and provide operational support to crew, management, and clients.
✅ Perform flight feasibility checks, including airport, routing, permits, operational restrictions, handling, fuel, and crew requirements.
✅ Coordinate flight planning and ensure all operational documentation is prepared and available prior to departure.
✅ Manage flight scheduling, including PPR, airport slots, handling, fuel arrangements, permits, and any other operational request.
✅ Liaise with ground handlers, fuel suppliers, airport authorities, permit providers, ATC units, and other service providers.
✅ Ensure crew members have all required training certificates, licenses, medicals, validations, and currency valid prior to each flight.
✅ Coordinate crew positioning with the HOTAC department, including hotels, transportation, and travel arrangements.
✅ Ensure crew FTL compliance with the planned schedule and identify any duty, rest, or fatigue-related limitations.
✅ Monitor flights and provide flight watch support during operations.
✅ Update operational systems accurately and maintain complete flight records.
✅ React promptly to operational changes, delays, last-minute requests, and unforeseen situations.
✅ Ensure proper communication and handover within the OCC team.
Requirements
🔹 Candidate must already be based in Dubai and hold an Emirates ID.
🔹 Extensive experience and knowledge in complex worldwide flight operations.
🔹 Previous experience in business aviation operations is required.
🔹 Strong knowledge of Flight Time Limitations (FTL) and crew duty regulations.
🔹 Valid Flight Dispatcher License / Certificate is required.
🔹 Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with LEON and ForeFlight.
🔹 Strong understanding of flight planning, permits, handling, slots, fuel coordination, and operational feasibility.
🔹 Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
🔹 Ability to work under pressure and manage last-minute operational changes.
🔹 High attention to detail, strong ownership, and good situational awareness.
🔹 Fluent English, both written and spoken.
🔹 Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required.
